I truly believe in self improvement regardless of how perfect you think you are. As human beings we always have to strive to be better people. We can’t just be. We are intelligent beings who can self analyze and improve. One of the best ways to do that is to ask intelligent questions. Our thought process is made up of asking questions unconsciously, which results in how we feel, are or act. Imagine if we start asking intelligent questions consciously? Like instead of letting our unconscious dictate how boring we feel about a situation, we can ask how can we improve this situation or how can We learn from this situation? Or how can we make the most of this?
This process directs our brain in a direction that is more productive. Our brains are like a car engine that if left alone can keep driving in circles or crash but if you direct it and drive it, it can lead us to exactly where we want to be. The intelligent questions make our brain think about and solve our issues productively.
Recently I’ve been practicing to consciously correct and fix stupid questions my brain asks unconsciously and replace them with intelligent ones. It’s a fun process. I think about how can I ask a question that will actually help solve my current problem/issue.
Fashion and style is very important to me. But there are times that you can’t decide what to wear. Or don’t feel like wearing anything you own. I remember using the phrase, ‘I don’t have anything to wear’ a lot. Tbh i have enough clothes to last me a month or more without repeating a single piece. But I still felt frustrated at times when I couldn’t decide what to wear. Now instead of getting frustrated I ask questions like, what can I whip up that’s super trendy and current from my own pieces. Or what do I feel like today?Comfort level? Style? Color? Etc.
This ensemble below is one of my favorite conscious decision pieces. Which worked seamlessly in achieving the look I wanted, also it felt really good to wear it. Isn’t that the most important thing? To wear what makes you feel good?
Let me know what you think about this post and the outfit below?
